The NFL's First Ever Playoff  Was Contested In Of All Places...INDOORS

The 2003-2004 season marks the 11th time the Super Bowl will be played in an indoor facility and the first time being played under a retractable-roof. The brand new 69,500-seat Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas will host Super Bowl XXXVIII.

But, the first time an NFL champion was crowned indoors was not after a Super Bowl. It was after the NFL’s first-ever playoff game played indoors in Chicago Stadium in 1932.
