1974 Fleer Immortal Roll: A Significant Set for HOF Football Collectors

In a previous article, we discussed the 1963 Pro Football Hall of Fame Bust Postcards and what a shame it was that production of these great looking cards was not continued.

While the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH probably provided a photo of the enshrinees, when asked, it was not until 1974 that an issue was produced that featured many of the members of the Hall in a ‘set’ of sorts. 

This was the year that Fleer Gum Corp. of Philadelphia, in conjunction with the Pro Football Hall of Fame, produced a set of 50 cards that featured members of the Hall of Fame.
